Luxury meets the wild in the heart of Africa’s finest bushveld where Royal Malewane's expert guides and trackers ensure intimate game experiences and close sightings of the big five. Sumptuous dining is a signatory feature, as the lodge is the first to boast a Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Blazon for cuisine. Best of all, being transported to the splendor of the African bushveld is effortless with established and easily accessible flights. Royal Malewane provides an escape from the constraints of modern life to a synthesis of wildest Africa and age-old colonial splendour. As the lodge is set deep in the African bush, this is ideal for the traveler who wants to experience true Africa. Most groups mix together well, and guests traveling alone are unlikely to feel excluded. Depending on availability, we are able to accommodate single travelers. Its unique size makes Royal Malewane suited to being booked in its entirety for families or friends wishing to have the camp for their exclusive use. Royal Malewane is situated on a private reserve within the greater Kruger National Park Area of South Africa. 13 000 hectares (30 000 Acres) provide a balance of spectacular game and wildlife viewing, extensive flora and never-ending African skies.

The Big 5 Experience
The thrill of viewing animals in the wild is unparalleled. Most of the viewing is conducted from specially converted Land Rovers. Tracking is an exhilarating experience, as your eyes and ears search for any sign that game is near.Up close and intensely personal, the spirit of the bushveld utterly seduces your senses. At Royal Malewane, the Big Five and a million more await. Home to lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and black & white rhino, the private reserve provides exceptional opportunities for game viewing.

Game viewing is individually tailored, either by open Land Rover or on foot. Expert and experienced rangers and trackers accompany the guests. All game rangers are highly trained and qualified and Royal Malewane is privileged to have the only surviving Master Tracker currently working in Southern Africa. SINGITA - SABI SAND & KRUGER NATIONAL PARK

Singita Boulders Lodge (SABI SAND GAME RESERVE) has a contemporary air of tranquility that honors Africa in an authentic way. Inspiring the name Boulders was an enormous boulder that sat right in the middle of the place where the wine cellar was to be built. A simple decision was made to build the cellar around the boulder! Guests can enjoy wrap-around views from most parts of the natural stone lodge, and the lookout deck offers the perfect spot from which to observe wildlife drawn to the Sand River. The quiet pond alongside the thatched lounge area allows the light and the landscape inside to the wide-open spaces, where straw baskets, neutral shades and textured fabrics complement wooden furniture. Singita Boulders Lodge offers twelve suites, all with their own en suite bathroom and shower, outside shower, private heated swimming pool, double-sided fireplace, mini bar and fridge, room mini safe, air-conditioning, overhead fans, private lounge, direct dial telephones and game-viewing deck.

Singita Ebony Lodge (SABI SAND GAME RESERVE) has a commanding presence and an essence that evokes an intense feeling of familiarity - as if visiting a congenial family home. Sumptuous coziness is simply the order of the day - tempting you into relaxation and reflection. The secluded thatched suites are the epitome of elegant comfort, with rooms styled with an eclectic mix of colors, fabrics and textures. A colonial feel with Egyptian linen, African throws, antiques and modern luxuries combine to create a homely, lived-in feel. From the vast wooden deck to the pool overlooking the Sand River, it’s not uncommon to see elephant, buffalo and antelope grazing only meters away at any time of day. Ebony Lodge offers twelve suites, all with their own en suite bathroom and shower, outside shower, heated private swimming pool, double-sided fireplace, mini bar and fridge, room mini safe, air-conditioning, overhead fans, private lounge, direct dial telephones and game-viewing deck.

Singita Sweni (KRUGER NATIONAL PARK) within Kruger National Park, continues to set new boundaries in game lodge living as a design and architectural masterpiece. Singita Sweni Lodge is a collection of six intimate suites nestled in dappled shade on the banks of the Sweni River. Its shady location on the water’s edge and the use of African artifacts, pots, baskets, dark leather, khakis and greens, convey an earthy tone. While still essentially modernist, the Sweni interiors reflect a typical safari palette. Constructed almost entirely of glass, slatted wood and bleached, woven branches, the suites merge into the intimate vistas of the river and surrounding euphorbia trees. Each suite offers absolute exclusivity and privacy with a wooden game viewing deck and outside shower. Sweni guests also enjoy their own dining room, wine cellar, swimming pool and boma. The opening of Sweni Lodge coincides with the completion of another Singita innovation, the Lebombo Village. Established in the organic, modernist style typical of Singita Lebombo, the Village features a spectacular gym and health spa, a gallery showcasing leading South African works, a wine boutique where guests can taste rare South African wines, and an interactive ranger center. The Village is tranquility itself where guests can browse at their leisure between game activities and purchase the finest African jewelry, artifacts and exclusive clothing and accessories.

Singita Lebombo (KRUGER NATIONAL PARK) located within Kruger National Park, offers guests a rare wilderness experience with spectacular scenery and an abundance of game in an exclusive 15 000 hectare (37 000 acre) private concession on the remote eastern boundary of Kruger National Park. Poised over one of Africa's most dramatic landscapes in the Kruger National Park's glorious south-east, Lebombo Lodge is set against a country that is abundant in water, antelope and big cats, with colors that shift with the changing seasons. Lebombo Lodge was created as a transient witness to the land, constructed of steel, glass and wood in reverence to the African expanse before it. Another Singita innovation is the Lebombo Village. Established in the organic, modernist style typical of Singita Lebombo, the Village features a spectacular gym and health spa, a gallery showcasing leading South African works, a wine boutique where guests can taste rare South African wines, and an interactive ranger centre. The Village is tranquility itself where guests can browse at their leisure between game activities and purchase the finest African jewelry, artifacts and exclusive clothing and accessories. The Lebombo Concession adds an exciting new dimension to the Singita wildlife experience. Located in the Kruger National Park's southeast, on the border with Mozambique, Lebombo represents one of the few remaining unexplored territories of this celebrated wildlife sanctuary. The Lebombo mountain range runs diagonally across the expanse, interlaced by the N'wanetsi and Sweni Rivers. The rangers testify that the area holds the highest densities of game they've seen anywhere, including a wealth of Big 5, abundant antelope and birdlife, and an incredible diversity of smaller animals.

TOKA LEYA - VICTORIA FALLS, ZAMBIA

Toka Leya Camp is situated on the banks of the Zambezi River in the eastern sector of the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, some 12km up from the Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
Accommodation consists of 12 safari-style tents, each en-suite with a view of the magnificent Zambezi River and some of its islands. The camp's dining and bar area are under a canopy of jackalberry and waterberry trees overlooking the River and there is swimming pool. Activities include a tour of the Falls on the Zambian side, game drives, river cruises and guided walks. Other activities on offer in the area at an additional charge include sunset cruises, helicopter flights, micro-lighting, canoeing, jet boating, white water rafting and fishing. At 1708 metres wide, Victoria Falls is the most expansive curtain of water in the world and drops more than 100 metres into the sheer Zambezi Gorge. The Tonga and Makalolo peoples lived here for centuries before the Falls were 'discovered' by David Livingstone in 1855, who named them after his queen. Its local name - after which the national park is named - is Mosi-Oa-Tunya, "the Smoke that Thunders," which describes accurately the huge spirals of spray that can be seen 30km away.
Located in the south-west corner of Zambia, the Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River are the central points in an area of spectacular scenic beauty: from the Falls themselves to the broad, picturesque course of the Zambezi River upstream, the rainforest adjacent and the stark jagged gorge downstream, the power and timelessness of nature's forces are evident throughout.
